Why this site exists
Search for a city tour in Honolulu and the listings blur into one promise of lookouts, history and aloha — while the details that decide whether your morning works sit in the fine print. One tour includes USS Arizona Memorial tickets that skip the walk-up line; the hop-on hop-off trolley, for all its four lines, does not go to Pearl Harbor at all. Pearl Harbor's federal bag rule bans anything bigger than a phone pouch. The helicopter needs check-in a full hour early, and a scenic half-day that runs in three languages is not suitable for a two-year-old.
None of that is secret. It is in the listings' own small print, in the operators' posted answers and in a year of traveller reviews. Putting it side by side, next to the price, is the entire job of this site.
Where the facts come from

Pearl Harbor bag rules, pickup regulations and weather suspensions are checked against official visitor information and the operators' own posted answers, and dated where they appear. Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 1,300 reviews across the three tours.
Where an operator admits something inconvenient in its own words — that pickup can land anywhere inside a one-hour window, that Navy boats to the memorial pause in high winds, or that not every tour vehicle takes a wheelchair — we quote it rather than smooth it over. Review quotes carry the reviewer's name and travel month exactly as published. We do not write testimonials.
What we do not do
We do not ride the vans, meet the guides or audit safety records. Judging whether the Pali lookout is worth standing in the wind on a showery January morning takes someone at the railing, and that is a job for the guide you ride with.
We also do not take your booking. Every Check Availability button sends you to the platform the operator sells on, where the price, the terms and the cancellation window are theirs.
How the site pays for itself
Links to tours on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the platform pays us a commission and you pay the same price you would pay going there directly.
That arrangement pays for the research and nothing else. It does not decide which tours appear, what order they sit in, or what we say about them. The cheapest seat on the homepage earns us the least, and the most expensive one gets the same scrutiny of its weight rules and check-in cutoffs as everything else.
Corrections
Prices move, pickup lists change and rules shift. If something here is out of date, write to us and tell us what you found and when you toured. We would rather fix a number than defend it.
