What this site is

An independent comparison of guided city and island tours departing Honolulu — currently a Pearl Harbor memorial tour, a scenic seven-lookout half-day and a helicopter flight — plus the practical information a visitor needs before booking one. We are not a tour operator, a travel agency or a seller of travel. We hold no bookings, take no payments and have no staff in Hawaii.

Every booking happens on the operator's own platform under their terms. If something goes wrong with a tour, the operator and the platform are who you deal with, not us.

Where the tour data comes from

Prices, durations, ratings, review counts, inclusions and cancellation terms are read directly off each operator's own listing and reproduced with the date they were read. Every tour page carries the same fields in the same order so the tours can be compared line by line, and each one states its own price-last-checked date.

We do not copy operator marketing descriptions. Where a pickup window, a bag rule or an inclusion is quoted — the one-hour pickup window on the Pearl Harbor tour, the seven lookouts on the scenic loop, the Bose headsets in the helicopter — it comes from the listing's own itinerary and inclusion blocks.

Where the rules and visitor information come from

Pearl Harbor's bag policy, the ban on meeting ticketed tours at the gate and the Navy's weather suspensions of memorial boat rides are verified against official Pearl Harbor visitor information and recent visitor reports, and dated where they appear. Trolley fares and line frequencies quoted for comparison come from the trolley operator's own published schedule, read in August 2026.

Ratings quoted on this site come from GetYourGuide verified bookings; the source is named wherever a rating appears. We do not calculate ratings of our own.

How traveller feedback is used

Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 1,300 reviews across the three tours, plus the platform's own category subscores for guide, transport and value where published.

We quote reviews with the reviewer's name and the month they travelled, exactly as published, and we do not edit them. Where a pattern of criticism shows up in the record — tight seating on the scenic van, pickup timing confusion on the Pearl Harbor run — it is stated in the guide prose of the page it concerns, with practical advice attached. We never write testimonials.

What we cannot verify

We do not ride the vans, fly the helicopters, meet the guides or audit safety records. We cannot tell you whether the trade winds will make the Pali lookout unpleasant on the morning you visit, whether a particular guide is careful, or whether a listed inclusion appears on the day.

We also cannot see live availability or the price you will be quoted for your date. The figures here are starting prices at the time of the check; the number that matters is the one on the checkout page.

How affiliate links affect this

Links to tours are affiliate links. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and you pay the same price you would pay going directly. The full arrangement is set out in the affiliate disclosure.

Commission does not decide which tours appear, the order they sit in, or what is said about them. The cheapest tour on the site earns the least, and the most expensive one gets the same scrutiny of its weight rules and check-in cutoffs as everything else.

Corrections

Fares move, pickup lists change and rules shift. If a number here is out of date, tell us what you found and when you toured. Corrections get made and the check date on the page is updated with them.
